Product Introduction

Functional Description:

This product is designed primarily for testing automotive millimeter-wave radar systems. The radar under test (DUT) is placed in an electromagnetic shielding chamber, maintaining a distance of approximately 1 meter from the simulator antenna. Using dedicated simulator control software, users can set target simulation parameters such as distance, speed, and radar cross-section (RCS) to calibrate and test radar performance.

Product Components:

The target simulator consists of two main modules: the millimeter-wave front-end module and the baseband module.

Front-End Millimeter-Wave Module:

- Function: Handles signal transmission and reception in the 77 GHz millimeter-wave band.

- RX接口:

Connector: WR-12, UG387/U, horizontal polarization

Maximum Input Power (at waveguide flange): -5 dBm

Function: Receives millimeter-wave signals.

- TX Interface:

Connector: WR-12, UG387/U, horizontal polarization

Maximum Output Power (at waveguide flange): 13 dBm

Function: Transmits millimeter-wave signals.

- RX IF Out Interface:

Connector: SMA (female)

Function: Outputs intermediate frequency (IF) signals to the baseband module.

- TX IF IN Interface: :

Connector: SMA (female)

Function: Receives intermediate frequency (IF) signals from the baseband module.
