Precision Measurement Breaks New Ground, Intelligent Connectivity Links the World! Da Instruments: Measuring New Heights in Aerospace with Chinese Precision

When CCTV's Lens Focuses on Shenzhen's Innovation Power: These Engineers Have Broken the Monopoly on Foreign High-End Satellite Test Instruments!

Decades of Industry Expertise: Forging a Benchmark in Testing with Aerospace DNA

Focusing on the theme "Precision Measurement Breaks New Ground, Intelligent Connectivity Links the World," the spotlight turns to Shenzhen Da Instruments Technology Co., Ltd. — a technology innovation company merely two years old, yet using modular technology as its blade to cut through the barriers of foreign monopoly in the field of high-end satellite communication test equipment. The story of founder Xu Shan, co-founder Han Shuai, and their team, as told in the interview, reveals the resilience and cutting-edge prowess of Chinese intelligent manufacturing in the aerospace domain.

"The establishment of Da Instruments was never a venture starting from scratch, but rather the blossoming of potential accumulated after a decade of deep cultivation," said founder Xu Shan with firm and steady conviction when discussing the foundation of the startup. Before founding the company, he had worked in the electronic test and measurement field for over ten years, accumulating vast practical engineering experience and establishing deep cooperative relationships with several top domestic aerospace research institutes.

"Every member of our team has years of experience working in the aerospace and aviation sectors," Xu Shan explained. From the architectural design of satellite platforms and the technical details of communication systems to the core requirements of industry standards, the team possesses a bone-deep understanding of every critical link in the aerospace field. "This experience isn't something you can learn from books; it's tempered through countless trials in the laboratory. It's our most valuable asset."

Origins at HIT: An Obsession with "Domestic Substitution" in the Satellite Field

"Foreign satellite communication equipment only supports internationally common frequency bands, making it difficult to meet the special requirements of domestic low-earth orbit satellites and military communications. Being strangled by core technologies has left China's aerospace sector in a passive situation of 'inaccurate and incomplete measurement'," Han Shuai's words during the interview pinpointed the industry's pain point. As a core member of the professor team at the School of Electronics and Information Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology, with over a decade of deep experience in satellite signal processing, he brought the accumulation of more than 20 related patents and co-founded Da Instruments with founder Xu Shan, vowing to create "practical products in the satellite communication field that truly solve the 'stranglehold' problem for domestic information and communication equipment."

Based on this industry insight, Da Instruments' core logic has never been to "follow trends in making products," but to "create solutions based on need." "The testing requirements for every aerospace project are highly unique; there's no universal template to follow," Xu Shan admitted. The team consistently adheres to a "customer-scenario-centric" approach, relying on their profound understanding of the industry to build highly adaptable, customized test systems tailored for each partner. "We know what problems our customers truly need to solve, where the risk points are in the testing process, and how to address the pain points with the most precise technical solutions." Speaking about the company's mission, Xu Shan's gaze was particularly firm: "The significance of Da Instruments' existence is not merely to create a useful test instrument, but to hope that with the technology and experience we've accumulated over a decade, we can establish autonomous and controllable test product standards in the aerospace and aviation field. Our goal is clear — not only to break the foreign monopoly but to create a domestically-produced testing benchmark of international first-class standards, allowing China's aerospace testing system to have its own 'ruler'."
